EenVandaag is a daily news programme that brings the background stories of the news, deepening and complementing regular news headlines. After having different tunes for EenVandaag’s radio and television broadcasts for quite a few years, it was decided that the same tune for both programmes would bring a lot of recognizability to the brand. We composed a new tune featuring a strong melody on french horn and a mix percussion and synths. For the radio broadcast we added a contemporary feel to it, to make the tune fit into the sound of NPO Radio 1, and to give some identity within the EenVandaag brand.
