In the search for a new talent show Talpa came up with the idea of finding the best puppet act in Holland. Talpa produced ‘Popster!’ as a prime time family show combining the talents of actor Andre van Duin and puppet acts for young and old with a classic, rousing show time feel. We wrote a catchy tune for the theme music. Talpa wanted music that combined the feeling of show time allure with the tension of the competition. Our answer was a distinct big band sound combined with contemporary, pounding beats. ‘Popster!’ had more than 1 million viewers.
